Our Israeli Partners
Blessing Israeli Believers exists to bless and uniquely empower Israeli believers in Yeshua to be the Shining Light to Israel and the Nations of the World!
Daniel and Rachel Goldstein
Daniel and Rachel Goldstein have been living in Israel for almost 20 years - mainly in Jerusalem. They have been serving the Lord for 30 years and both speak Hebrew as their second language.
For many years this precious couple has been sharing the good news of Messiah Jesus and feeding and helping the poor saints in Jerusalem.
They really have a heart for the poor and needy people of Jerusalem and have been very successful in producing results for the great needs of the Believing community in difficult situations.
Daniel pastors a small congregation in Jerusalem as well.
In their own words:
"Due to the great economic crisis in the world, we are seeking your help in this most blessed endeavor to stand with us at this time. In addition, as the political situation changes and as we see the world turning against us in a manner not seen since World War II, we truly seek your support. We need you and we thank you for your help."
Blessing from Jerusalem,
Daniel and Rachel Goldstein
Pastor Oded Shoshani
My name is Oded Shoshani.
I was born in 1959 in Ramat Gan, near Tel Aviv. I came to know Yeshua, the Messiah of Israel, right after my army service. Shortly later, my wife, Sandy and I married and I began my studies at the Israel Institute of Technology , the "Technion", completing a degree in mechanical engineering.
During the 13 years of working professionally as an engineer, I served in leadership roles in congregations. In the spring of 2002, the Lord called me into full time service in ministry.
I have been the pastor of the Hebrew congregation of King of Kings Jerusalem since January 2004. My wife and I have seven children who follow and serve the Lord.
Yeshua said in Mattew 26:11 that we will always have the poor. Our desire, while helping the poor, is not only to provide help in severe situations but to make sure that people will learn how to better manage their resources. To facilitate that we provide financial counseling to the needy. However, we have single mother families who constantly struggle to have ends meet. The economic structure does not allow single mother families to thrive but always be "on the edge". We also have some families that are facing hard times for various reasons. We appreciate any help and make sure that all designated funds for the needy are used just for that.
Kehilat Hacarmel (Carmel Congregation)
In 1991, David and Karen Davis established a rehabilitation center for men with backgrounds of drug and alcohol abuse, known as Beit Nitzachon (House of Victory) in the port city of Haifa. The vision for this work is based on Isaiah 58, concerning God's chosen fast, which is love expressed through practical acts of mercy. Kehilat HaCarmel (Carmel Congregation) was born out of this work, as believers began gathering at House of Victory for worship and Bible studies. Peter and Rita Tsukahira joined the Davises in leading the new congregation, comprised of Jewish believers, Arabs, and other Gentiles who love and worship Yeshua. The foundational vision of Kehilat HaCarmel is based on Ephesians 2:15, "the one new man."
The Kehilat HaCarmel worship center is strategically placed on the highest point of Mount Carmel, in the same area where the prophet Elijah confronted the false gods of his age and restored the altar of worship of the God of Israel. As a congregation we have a calling to proclaim the victory of the Lord Yeshua (Is. 42:10-13) in worship and intercession, understanding that worship is essential to the advancing of His Kingdom.
Through our Raven’s Basket feeding program, we distribute food to the poor on a weekly basis, and are now serving close to 450 families. We also operate a clothing distribution center, Elijah's Cloak, in downtown Haifa. These ministries are of great importance in this hour to give hope and to share the love of God with people who are in need.
In 2003 we acquired two older buildings, adjacent to the Kehilat HaCarmel worship center, which have become the Or HaCarmel (“Light of Carmel”) Ministry Center. Our Mount Carmel School of Ministry is headquartered here. The School of Ministry, which integrates intensive training and a study tour in Israel, is for those from the nations seeking a prophetic understanding of the Scriptures, especially as they relate to the purposes of God for this Land. We also operate at Or HaCarmel a women’s shelter which now houses refugees from Africa.
Mid-week meetings for youth and children, as well as prayer and Bible studies now take place in our community center in central Haifa, called Beit Yedidia, which is also the home of our Hebrew-speaking “daughter” congregation, Kerem El.

Psalm 133: 3
As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion:
for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.

Serving in Northern Israel
Ezra and Shulamite minister in the Northern areas of Israel---in their own words:
We are an Israeli immigrant family who face the difficulties faced by all immigrants in adapting to a new culture. Through these struggles God prepared our hearts to reach out to minister to others who find themselves in difficult situations. Presently we have been blessed to serve our LORD and His people for over 10 years and this is our life long desire, to serve Him.
Our Purpose is to gather together “…that He might teach us His ways, that we might walk in His paths…” Isa. 2:3
Our Goal is to reveal the Person and Divinity of Messiah, Yeshua, and the furtherance of Education concerning Early Christianity and its Judaic Roots.
Our Call is the “equipping of the saints for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Messiah till we all come to the unity of the faith…” Eph. 4:12-13
The apostle John exhorts us through the Spirit, “let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth” 1Jn.3:18
Throughout the last decade, poverty in Israel has significantly increased. Social gaps have widened and the obstacles to escaping poverty have increased.
In regards to employment, the study shows that 30% of poor individuals who get support from NGOs are employed, while 60% are unemployed who have been out of a job for over three years, an increase of 11% in comparison to 2009.
Some 1.77 million people live in poverty in Israel, of them more than 850,000 children, according to an "alternative poverty report".
75% of impoverished individuals in Israel forgo meals due to their financial situation, a 21% rise from 2009. Moreover, 83% of children did not receive dental care.
In light of these statistics the LORD has directed us to establish a program to financially assist poverty stricken Believing Israeli families. We provide financial assistance for food, dental, utilities, clothing, and numerous other needs that can be substantiated by the applicant.
We are thankful to Blessing Israeli Believers Partners who help us in our Kingdom work!

The Beautiful City of Haifa
Ariel graduated summa cum laude from Wheaton College, double majoring in International Relations and Communication. He founded a pro-Israel club on campus that hosted multiple speakers and events on theological and political topics related to Israel. He has had significant experience in advocacy on behalf of Israel, and feels called by God to serve in politics in Israel. He is currently serving in the Israeli Defense Forces; his branch regularly meets and corresponds with international organizations and embassies regarding activities, projects, and developments in Judea, Samaria, and Gaza.
God has continually granted Ariel opportunities to share about Yeshua wherever he goes. It’s exciting to see how God is opening the hearts of His people in Israel again! Less than 10 years ago, the majority of Jewish people in Israel were unwilling to even discuss the topic of Yeshua, but now their hearts have started to soften. Yet they still have many serious and difficult questions about Yeshua that need to be answered. Just two examples out of many: “If Yeshua is really the Messiah, why isn’t there peace on earth?” And, “If you claim that Yeshua is God, then you are guilty of making a man into God. This is idolatry and forbidden by the Torah!”
Unfortunately, we haven’t found a booklet in Hebrew that effectively answers such questions and objections – especially not something brief enough to be compelling and accessible, yet in-depth enough to actually answer objections. For this reason, my father and I (Ariel) have begun writing a concise, engaging, and visually appealing booklet in Hebrew and in English to present the Gospel from a Jewish perspective and to effectively answer Jewish objections to Yeshua.
Our goal is to pass out thousands of these booklets to believers in Israel who can give this powerful evangelistic tool to their non-believing family and friends. Of course, we can’t do this on our own. This project will involve numerous hours of research, writing, translation, and graphic design. Our printing costs will also be substantial. So we deeply appreciate any help that you can provide through Blessing Israeli Believers. We also especially appreciate your prayers for wisdom and clarity in writing, and for God to perfectly bring together every aspect of this booklet for His glory.
May the Lord bless you richly,
Ariel and Shayla
