Our Biblical Mandate
Did you know the Bible commands believers in Jesus in the nations to help with the material needs of the poor Israeli Believers in Jerusalem?
Did you know... that we love Israel and know there is a blindness until they receive Yeshua upon His return. Yet while Israel is in the sin of corruption like the nations, the homosexual movement, abortion and atheism, there is something preserving Israel from becoming like Sodom and Gomorrah just before the Lord returns to make a short work on the earth---the seed of righteousness in the small percentage of Israelis who believe in Messiah Yeshua (Jesus)?
Did you know... that the gospel is to go to the Jew first and then the Gentile?
Here are the scriptures that give us this Biblical Mandate:
For it hath pleased them of Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contribution for the poor saints which are at Jerusalem. It hath pleased them verily; and their debtors they are. For if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, their duty is also to minister unto them in material things.
Esaias also crieth concerning Israel, Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, a remnant shall be saved: For he will finish the work, and cut it short in righteousness: because a short work will the Lord make upon the earth. And as Esaias said before, Except the Lord of Sabaoth had left us a seed, we had been as Sodoma, and been made like unto Gomorrha.
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
